Their role focuses on strengthening economic stability through public safety partnerships and ensuring that police services are tailored to the specific needs of commercial corridors.

Here is a summary of their core responsibilities:

1. Relationship & Service Coordination

  • Strategic Partnerships: Coordinates directly with business owners and managers to align police services with their specific safety concerns.

  • Community Strengthening: Works to bridge the gap between the Department and the business community to foster a safer environment for both commerce and residents.

2. Program Implementation

  • Public Safety Initiatives: Executes all duties mandated by the "Community Policing Business Public-Safety Initiative," which typically includes specialized training for employees, crime prevention through environmental design, and organized communication networks among local shops.
